The ShareIn and ShareOut course folders are legacy file repositories shared by BCIT students and faculty. The preferred method of sharing content between instructors and students is through the Learning Hub. Access to the Share In/Out folders are available both on campus and remotely.
ShareIn (the IN folder, drive I:) allows students to securely upload completed assignments to a course folder, where only instructors can access the files.
ShareOut (the OUT folder, drive J:) allows instructors to post course materials for students to access.
Features:
- ShareIn and ShareOut network locations can be mapped for easy access
- Access is available from off-campus via Remote Access: myVPN
- Data backups are performed nightly
- Files can be submitted using an easy-to-use multi-level folder-based structure

Getting started
Current instructors and students are automatically provisioned access to the Share In/Out course folders.
To access ShareIn and ShareOut course foders log into a computer in a BCIT computer lab (I and J drvie) or map the folders on another device.
Cost
There are no additional costs associated with this service.
