BCIT Scholarly Activity Week 2025 Recap

Thank you to everyone for joining the second annual Scholarly Activity Week!

We had a wonderful response to our call for presenters, and had a great week of learning about the wide-ranging scholarly activity underway at BCIT.

Over the week, we had:

  • 4 days of presentations
  • 25 sessions (many of which were recorded – stay tuned for links)
  • Presenters from many of the schools, and areas such as the Library, Sustainability, RDI, MarComm, and Applied Research
  • Presenters and participants who were faculty, staff, and most excitingly – students!

Sessions included both those focused on how to pursue scholarly activity, and presentations on scholarly activity at various stages of development from early stages, to well underway, to completed.  Each of these contributed to our scholarly activity community by celebrating what we do, sharing insights on how to pursue scholarly activity, and creating connections and spreading great ideas.

Thanks again for supporting scholarly activity at BCIT.  Stay tuned for more events and of course for next year’s Scholarly Activity Week!
