Tony is a seasoned professional with over 28 years of experience in machining, manufacturing, and design, spanning multiple industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical, musical hardware, and high-end TV and film props. He earned his Red Seal Certificate as a Machinist from BCIT in 1998, following his Diploma as a Diesel Technician from Vancouver Community College.

Tony began his career as a manual machinist before transitioning to CNC machining technology. He managed and programmed a range of CNC equipment, including a sophisticated 35-pallet twin horizontal cellular manufacturing system designed for unmanned overnight operation.

His extensive expertise in manufacturing and design led to several notable innovations, including:

– The Rail Tail, a patented tremolo system for electric guitars, now in partnership with the renowned Floyd Rose USA.
– The Tone Claw, an enhancement of an outdated guitar component.
– The String Surfer, an advanced upgrade to stock string saddles on electric guitars.

Tony’s product development efforts were supported by his foray into online marketing and web design. By employing strategies like keyword research, web analytics, and SEO, he successfully launched his products and garnered positive feedback, leading to a licensing deal with Floyd Rose USA.

Outside of work, Tony enjoys coaching his sons in hockey, playing guitar, and working on his 1969 Plymouth Sport Satellite.
