Double Degree Programs

Participate in BCIT’s Double Degree program and graduate with two bachelor’s degrees, one from BCIT and one from a partner institution in Europe! BCIT Business + Media offers BCIT students Double Degree Programs to provide a global perspective in business. First complete your core degree courses at BCIT, followed by two semesters abroad immersed in a culture and potential internship opportunities abroad.

We are still accepting applications for our Summer Field School, Exchange and Double Degree 2024-2025 programs!

Eligibility

All full-time and part-time Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Accounting students can apply for the double degree program.

Programs

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students can go to Belgium, Germany or Switzerland.
Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) students can go to Austria.

This Double Degree program is available to students in the Bachelor of Accounting program and consists of either two academic terms or one academic and one internship term.

Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance (UAS BFI Vienna)

Courses to be completed at BCIT before going abroad:

All required courses and FMGT electives
The two mandatory LIBS courses
6.0 Arts or Science credits (for the Internship option at BFI Vienna) or 3.0 Arts or Science credits (for the *Academic option at BFI Vienna)

Cost

As a double degree student you will pay regular BCIT tuition while studying at the partner institution. There are several scholarships and awards available for studying abroad.

Application process

Apply: Complete an online application form by February 1. Email a one-page letter of intent stating why you want to do the double degree to sobiep@bcit.ca
Personal Interview: Eligible applicants will be contacted for an in-person or online interview within 5 business days after applying.
Wait for Admittance: Applications will be reviewed after the deadline and applicants will be informed of a decision by late February.
