At BCIT there are dozens of recreational activities to keep you fit and energized. Through Recreation Services you can join an intramural league, play drop-in sports, spend time on the climbing wall, or make use of the weight machines, free weights and cardio equipment in the Fit Pit. There are also lots of special programs, equipment rentals, and even discount passes to local attractions for BCIT Students.
The Library at BCIT is more than just a collection of books. They offer a host of services and resources to help you study, collaborate, and hone your skills. Be sure to check out the EhPod. It’s a late-night study space open until 3:00 a.m. for when you need to burn the midnight oil.

Student Health Services operates a regular medical drop-in clinic staffed by physicians and nurses. The fee-for-service physiotherapist is nearby and a psychiatrist is available by referral.
Indigenous Initiatives exists to build community, connect students, and provide support by offering a range of services such as Peer-to-Peer Mentorship, Traditional Sweat Lodge Ceremonies, and Elders in Residence.
The BCIT Student Association takes a student-centred, responsive, and proactive approach to supporting and enhancing the quality of student life at BCIT.
Our on-campus housing is located on the Burnaby Campus, adjacent to the sports field and campus recreation facilities. We also offer, in partnership with the My Ideal Home Network, comprehensive listings of off-campus accommodation including support for short-stay and apprenticeship.
