High school graduation credentials

The following credentials are acceptable for high school graduation:

  • British Columbia Certificate of Graduation (Dogwood Diploma)
  • British Columbia Adult Graduation Diploma (BCAGD)
  • General Educational Development (GED)

High school graduation is a preferred requirement for admission; BCIT strongly recommends it for career success. For most programs, applicants who have not graduated from high school will be considered for admission if they meet or exceed program entrance requirements.
