If you meet the admission requirements for your chosen program but no seats are available, you may be placed on the waitlist for the next available seat. Seats become available when other accepted applicants:

  • Do not pay the commitment fee;
  • Do not pay tuition; or
  • Decide to withdraw from the program.

When a seat becomes available

Admissions will contact you by phone and/or send correspondence via myCommunication.

To secure your seat:

  1. Contact Admissions to confirm your interest and availability.
  2. Receive your official offer of admission.
  3. Pay your non-refundable, non-transferable commitment fee by the specified deadline to accept your offer of admission.
Waitlisted applications for Technology programs
(specific start date):

Waitlisted applications for Trade Foundation programs (no specific start date):

Waitlists for Technology programs vary each year. Admissions will maintain the waitlist until the end of
the first week of classes. If you are not offered a seat by this date, your application will be closed and you will need to reapply to a future intake.
Trade Foundation programs have ongoing intakes throughout the year. Applicants apply directly to a waitlist instead of a specified start date.

Declining the offer:

If a seat becomes available and you decline, your application will be closed and you will need to reapply to a future intake.

Declining the offer:

If you decline your offer, you can request to remain on the waitlist for consideration to future intakes.

Failure to respond to an offer

If you don’t respond to the offer, you’ll be removed from the waitlist and your application will be closed.

Considering another program?

If you have been waitlisted, contact Admissions if you would like to be considered for your second-choice program.

Note: If you receive an offer or are waitlisted for an alternate program, you’ll need to decide whether to stay on your current waitlist, transfer to a new waitlist, or accept the offer of admission.
