Getting started with myBCIT

When you apply, declare a program, or request apprentice training at BCIT, all official communications will be channelled through your myBCIT account. Once your application is processed, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to access your myBCIT account.

Your myBCIT portal is your key to navigating the next steps in your application:

  • Viewing important communications from BCIT;
  • Uploading transcripts and supporting documents to complete your application;
  • Checking your application status;
  • Ensuring your personal information is complete and up-to-date.

Viewing important communications

You’ll receive an alert to your personal and BCIT email for every official communication sent by BCIT. Some messages are time-sensitive and require action, so it’s important to regularly check your inbox or myCommunication.

Log into your myBCIT account > Student Self Service > myCommunications to view and print all official BCIT letters.

Uploading transcripts and documents

Easily submit your transcripts and any additional supporting documents needed to complete your application.

Log into your myBCIT account > Student Self Service > Check Application Status or Upload More Documents.
