Submitting Transcripts & Supporting Documents

Notice to applicants

For the safety of our students and staff, we encourage you to submit digital documents with your application.

Submitting transcripts and supporting documents is a key step in the application process. These documents need to show how you meet all the entrance requirements for your chosen program.

Before you apply

  1. Ensure you meet the requirements
Entrance requirements at BCIT are unique for each program. Review your program’s requirements on the Entrance Requirements page.
  2. Collect your documentation
Review the information on this page, and then collect all the transcripts and documentation required for your program.
  3. Convert your documents to PDF files
You need to submit all documentation online when you apply. To do this, all documents need to be scanned or saved as PDF (Portable Document Format) files.

When you’ve completed these steps, you’re ready to apply online.

Note to BCIT Students

Using BCIT courses to apply

If you previously completed course(s) at BCIT, you are not required to submit your BCIT transcript with your online application. When completing your online application, clearly indicate the BCIT course(s) you are using to meet your program’s entrance requirements (e.g. BCIT, MATH 0007, 67%). Your admissions officer will review your BCIT academic record to confirm your course and grade.
