Full-Time Programs

Tuition for most full-time programs will be posted in your myBCIT account under Student Self Service approximately 1-2 months before the program start date. Prior to posting, you can calculate your tuition using our fee schedules. Select your program type at the top of the Tuition & Fees page, then select the applicable tuition fee schedule PDF for your program. Please note there are no taxes on tuition.

Part-Time Courses

Part-time course fees are paid a course-by-course basis. Fees for each course are listed on each course registration page; find your course using our online course catalogue. For additional details, visit the Flexible Learning Fees page.

Flexible Learning courses for International students carry 3.0 times the posted fee. Distance & Online Learning courses also carry 3.0 times the fee.

Please note there are no taxes on tuition.

You can apply to a program as long as you meet that program’s entrance requirements. Different requirements, guidelines, and processes apply depending on what you choose to study. BCIT provides a general step-by-step checklist for each of its program application options, including applications for advanced placement. Visit the How to Apply page to find your checklist.

Please note that you may only have one active application at a time.

Full-time Studies

At BCIT, entrance requirements are program-specific. Find your program and refer to the program entry details. In addition to submitting documents to show that you meet the academic requirements, you may be required to have work experience, submit assessment forms, or attend an interview.

Flexible Learning

Whether it is a listed requirement for your program or not, it is strongly recommended that you have English proficiency. English requirements are program-specific. Find your program and refer to the program entry details.

Many courses have prerequisites listed in the course description. Before registering, it is your responsibility to ensure you have completed the prerequisites or provide proof that you have equivalent skills and knowledge, if requested.

This means that a portion of the seats are temporarily held for domestic students. This might impact your ability to register if you are an international students.

Application deadlines vary by program. Check your program’s Entrance Requirements page or check out When to Apply to find the deadline for your chosen program.

If you have completed courses at another post-secondary institution and believe they are equivalent to what is taught at BCIT, you may be eligible for course credit. Visit our Transfer Credit page and use our search tool to look up your course equivalency, or read about how to apply for transfer credit toward your full-time or part-time program.

You can pay through online banking, by adding BCIT as the payee. Check the Payment Options page for details.

Remember that payment for Flexible Learning courses is due immediately at the time of registration.

Tuition deadlines for full-time programs will be specified in correspondence from BCIT sent to your myCommunication inbox within myBCIT.
