How to apply for student housing
BCIT Long and Short Stay Housing applications are only accepted through this Housing portal, you can log in and apply for student housing using your BCIT email address and password.
The Long-stay application processes for the Academic Year 2024-2025 will open on February 28th, 2024. Please check back, on or after that date, to submit your application.
Housing Bursary
In Fall 2023, BCIT is launching a new housing bursary to support low-income students. If the cost of Student Housing creates a barrier for you to attend BCIT, please contact the Student Financial Aid & Awards Office to apply for housing subsides up to $250/semester.
About BCIT Student Housing
BCIT Student Housing is located on the Burnaby Campus, adjacent to the sports field and campus recreation facilities. The Housing department strives to provide you with a safe and comfortable living space on-campus.
Student Housing is comprised of seven low-rise buildings, each containing four suites of twelve bedrooms, and a laundry room. Each suite contains two floors of bedrooms and bathrooms, a dining room and a living room, and two full kitchen areas. Each bedroom floor contains six single bedrooms (~9’5” x 11’), two private showers, a shared vanity, and two private toilets. Rent includes wired and wireless internet and utilities.
Student Housing provides opportunities to share experiences with people from different backgrounds, participate in activities, and become involved in campus life all while working towards your academic goals. Sharing with other suitemates requires cooperation and communication, but it can be an enriching, fun and memorable experience.
