By order of the PHO, proof of vaccination will be required to access Recreation Services. Starting September 13, you must have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Proof of vaccination – Province of British Columbia (gov.bc.ca)

When coming into the Recreation Centre for any purpose you will need to show your proof of vaccination, a valid government photo ID, as well as your BCIT student/employee ID card each and every time you enter into the facility. Below you will find some examples of a valid government photo ID:

  • BC driver’s licence or BC Services Card
  • Passport
  • Photo ID issued by another province or territory

Starting on Monday September 27th we will only be accepting the BC Vaccine Card. Visit – BC Proof of vaccination and the BC Vaccine card to learn how to apply and download a BC Vaccine Card. If you don’t have a personal health number yet, please contact the COVID-19 vaccination line for assistance.
