To best support the need for physical distancing due to recent COVID-19 developments, the BCIT Centre for Workplace Education is currently conducting work by phone or email.
In-person appointments and drop-in services will be unavailable until further notice.
For answers to frequently asked questions, please see the Centre for Workplace Education Updates.
The Centre for Workplace Education provides career education and bridges employers and students through Co-operative Education (Co-op), eJOBS, and BCIT Career Edge. Below are links to information about BCIT’s Co-op programs.
Co-operative Education (co-op) links knowledge and skills gained from the classroom with applications in business and industry. In practice, workplace education or co-op alternates periods of academic study and related, practical working experiences.
eJOBS links the student and employer community through a job posting portal. BCIT current students and alumni have free access to this service. If you are looking to hire a BCIT student or alumni, post your positions whether it be full-time, part-time, or temporary/seasonal (non-co-op).
BCIT Career Edge provides students with the support to gain short term paid work experiences related to their field of study. Participants will gain valuable career management skills and work experience to launch their career.
