IMPORTANT NOTICE: The tuition portion of PELD courses is free for Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and protected person/Convention refugee status.  In addition, all students pay ancillary fees (student association fees, BCIT ID card fees, etc.).

Students may also apply for the Adult Upgrading Grant (AUG) if they qualify to do so. This grant is intended to help support the costs associated with student fees, textbooks, unsubsidized childcare, and transportation for students in need of financial assistance. Registration is on a “first come, first served” basis. Because of the high demand, we cannot hold seats for students. Students can register for multiple courses; however, students cannot take two similar courses at the same time. This is a laddered program, so in order to move up to the next level, you need to be placed in the course or pass the previous course.
