The tuition portion of EPAS courses is free for Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and individuals with protected person or Convention refugee status. However, students in these categories are still responsible for ancillary fees, such as student association fees, BCIT ID card fees, and other mandatory charges.
Eligible students may also apply for the Adult Upgrading Grant (AUG). This grant is designed to help cover costs related to student fees, textbooks, unsubsidized childcare, and transportation for those who require financial assistance. To learn more about the grant or to download the application form, please visit Upgrading and ESL Funding and submit the completed form to the Financial Aid office before the last day of your course.
