  • Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI) exists to certify, inform and advocate. The only professional association for Public Health Inspectors in Canada, it is continually working to protect the health of all Canadians, advance the sanitary sciences and enhance the field of public health inspection.
  • Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI), British Columbia Branch is the professional association for Public Health Inspectors and Environmental Health Officers in BC and the Yukon. A range of member services is provided. The branch advocates sound public health policy and protection of the public.
  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recognized as the lead US federal agency for protecting the health and safety of people at home and abroad, providing credible information to enhance health decisions and promoting health through strong partnerships. CDC serves as the national focus for developing and applying disease prevention and control, environmental health, and health promotion and education activities designed to improve the health of the people of the United States.   • Foodsafe is a highly successful, flexible training program to train secondary school learners as well as front-line staff, managers and supervisors of restaurants in safe food handling procedures, including worker health and safety content and the use of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles. It was developed cooperatively by the restaurant industry, WorkSafeBC, educators and the provincial government.
