2026 British Columbia Graduate Scholarship (BCGS)
The Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills (the Ministry) is pleased to offer 3 $17,500 merit-based scholarships to graduate students. The scholarship will be disbursed in 2 instalments: $8,750 at the beginning of the first semester (September), and $8,750 at the beginning of the second semester (January).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Eligible full-time Master’s degree programs include:
- Master of Applied Science in Building Engineering/Building Science
- Master of Engineering in Building Science
- Master of Engineering in Smart Grid Systems and Technologies
- Master of Science in Ecological Restoration
- Master of Science in Applied Computing
- You must demonstrate academic excellence.
- You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- You must have applied for admission to BCIT and been assigned a BCIT ID. You do not need to be accepted into your program by the BCGS application deadline.
- You must commence full-time studies at the graduate level in September 2026.
- You must maintain satisfactory academic and full-time studies standing during the academic period for which a scholarship is given.
- A minimum 80% GPA is required from your most recent undergraduate degree.
