BCIT’s commitment to best practices in corporate governance, public accountability, and transparency is reflected within our business processes, established policies and procedures, and mechanisms to comply with regulations and legislation.
Most recently, compliance with the Public Interest Disclosure Act (PIDA) began to apply to BCIT effective June 1, 2024. PIDA provides protection to employees who report suspected wrongdoing or participate in an investigation from reprisal. It further protects employees under investigation to ensure fair treatment.
