Your current BCIT Student ID card entitles you to library borrowing privileges at all campuses while you are attending BCIT courses.
You can obtain your BCIT Student ID card from the library during regular hours. Cards are not transferable and it is your responsibility to notify the Library and Security of a lost or stolen card. Borrowers are responsible for all materials and equipment charged to their card. This responsibility includes proper care and control of items in their possession, and return of materials on or before the due date or established recall date.

Fines and suspension of borrowing privileges start as soon as the item is overdue. Failure to return library materials and settle accumulated fines by the end of term may result in marks, diplomas, transcripts and re-registration being withheld.
Library fines may be paid in person at any campus library, at any Customer Service Representative location once a banner hold has been placed, or by major credit card over the phone.
Lost or damaged material
In the event that material is lost or returned damaged, the full replacement value, together with a processing fee of $20.00, will be payable to the library.
Material from other BCIT Libraries can be sent to the Library of your choice for pick-up including AIC and DTC. Once you find the items you want in the Library Catalogue, place a request by clicking on the Request button and choose your pick-up location from the drop-down menu.
