International Education Week at BCIT
Recognized in over 100 different countries in the world, International Education Week is an annual celebration of the many benefits of international education! BCIT participates in celebrating International Education Week during the third week of November every year. As our world becomes more interconnected, understanding different cultures, places, and peoples from all over the globe is more essential than ever.
Benefits of international education at BCIT
The BCIT community benefits greatly from international connections. Incoming international students bring important skills and global connections to the institute while Canadian students and faculty who go on exchange to one of our partner institutes abroad come back with a fresh perspective and new knowledge to share with classmates or colleagues. Internationalization at BCIT helps to prepare students with key intercultural communication skills and a worldly mindset for success in an increasingly globalized economy.
