International tuition fees for all flexible learning courses are 3 times the domestic rate. Tuition fees are due upon each course-by-course registration.

Domestic tuition fee eligibility
If you are not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada, you will be required to pay international tuition fees at BCIT, unless you are eligible for one of the following exceptions:
- You have Protected Person or Convention refugee status in Canada;
- You are a diplomat assigned to Canada;
- You are the dependent of a diplomat assigned to Canada;
- You are the dependent of an individual who is a permanent resident of Canada or Canadian citizen.
Note: You will be required to provide documents that verify your eligibility for domestic tuition fees. If you are eligible for one of these exceptions, please provide your supporting documentation to statusdoc@bcit.ca before the refund deadline for all of your courses for the term. Be sure to provide your BCIT student number in the email correspondence. Exceptions cannot be backdated or pro-rated for previous terms regardless of when the student became eligible.
