If you are missing one or more courses required for entrance into a BCIT program, or if you have the required course but your percentage grade is not high enough, there are several upgrading options available
English for Professional and Academic Success (EPAS)
The EPAS program is for students seeking to strengthen their English skills and/or meet entry requirements for post-secondary academic programs.
Students are eligible to apply for a study permit after receiving acceptance and placement into the program.
English Pre-Entry & Upgrading
These courses are an excellent option for students seeking to strengthen English skills for the workplace or meet entry requirements for BCIT programs or other post-secondary institutions across British Columbia. Students must already have a valid status in Canada to register.
Technology Entry (TE)
Technology Entry is a 15-week, full-time day school program that provides academic preparation to help you meet BCIT technology program entry requirements in communication, mathematics, chemistry, and physics. Students are eligible to apply for a study permit after receiving acceptance into this program.
