Application processing
Applications are accepted throughout the year.
Entrance requirements
Applicants must meet all entrance requirements and will be accepted on a first-qualified basis as long as space remains.
- English language proficiency: meet one of the following:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 4.5 overall score or
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT): 32 or 2.0 overall score or

To assess you for the EPAS program, we look at both your overall score and your production score, which shows how well you speak and write. You must meet the minimum requirements for both scores to get into a specific level; if your production score is too low, you will start in a easier class to make sure you are ready.
The lowest scores to begin the program are 65 overall and 60 production for Duolingo, 4.5 for IELTS Academic, or 32 for TOEFL iBT. Please make sure your test is less than two years old. Email your results and BCIT ID Number to EPAS@bcit.ca.
