Support when sharing or informing
BCIT takes all incidents of sexualized violence and misconduct seriously. We recognize that sexualized violence can have serious negative impacts on an individual’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and wellness. We encourage people to reach out in the way that feels safest and most comfortable for them.
Community services such as VictimLink BC or Salal Sexual Violence Support Centre can also assist with accompaniment or explaining your reporting options.
Informing BCIT
BCIT is committed to providing and maintaining a learning, living, and working environment free from sexualized violence. BCIT’s Sexualized Violence Support & Incident Report Form is a safe, secure, and confidential way to share with BCIT if you have experienced, witnessed, or been informed of sexualized violence.

In addition to filling out the Sexualized Violence Support & Incident Report form, you can also share about an experience of sexualized violence with an employee at BCIT. If you are an employee who has someone share with you an experience of sexualized violence, there are more resources you can refer the person to and information of how you can give support.
