Group life insurance
BCIT offers group life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance to eligible employees. The principal sum for which you are covered is determined by your employee group.

Your Accidental Death and Dismemberment Plan has a schedule of benefits that outlines what the Insurer will pay for specific losses within 365 days from the date of an accident. These may be found in the benefit booklet for your appropriate employee group.
Beneficiary change form
It is important to keep your beneficiary information current. In the event of a claim, the most recent name on file will be the designated beneficiary.
