Degree Students - Capstone Projects

Capstone projects are the center-piece of ELEX 7790 & 7890 - MECH 8190 & 8290 courses, allowing students to be involved in interesting, real-world activities. Each student is required to complete this course. Student teams (usually-2-3 students per team) work on their projects and each team is advised by a faculty member. Projects selected are encouraged to have an industry connection or solve a practical problem beneficial to industry.

On May 13, 2015 the School of Energy held a Capstone Project Expo where students from Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics and Robots displayed their projects. View pictures from the event.
