Long-Stay
You are only eligible for student housing if you have been fully accepted into a full-time, 12-weeks or more cohort-based BCIT program.
Unfortunately, at this time we cannot accommodate students taking flexible learning courses. This includes those enrolled in multiple flexible learning courses that lead to a full-time enrollment status.
Short-Stay
You are eligible to live in short-stay apprentice housing at BCIT if you’ve been accepted into a full-time BCIT apprenticeship training program that is 12 weeks or shorter.
Priority Access
Priority considerations are made for the following groups:
- Indigenous students
- Students who were formerly youth-in-care
- Students with disabilities that impact their housing needs (as verified by BCIT Accessibility Services)
Housing access is prioritized but not guaranteed for priority groups.
Accessibility
Student Housing supports students with a variety of accessibility needs. We have suites that are equipped with:
- In-suite washer and dryer
- Wheelchair-accessible washroom, bedroom, and kitchen
- Strobe light fire alarm
