BCIT provides parking facilities for employees, students, contractors, and the general public. During business hours, student parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in designated parking lots. Our parking rates for all BCIT campus, as well as information on payment can be found below.

Transportation & Parking Office

If you have questions about your parking options at all BCIT Campus locations, either come to the Transportation & Parking Office in SW1 – 1090 (Burnaby Campus) or contact the Parking Team at parking@bcit.ca or call 604-432-8719.

Weekday office hours may vary between 7:30 am to 2:30 pm. Closed on weekends and statutory holidays. For the most current schedule see, Parking Office Hours.

Specialty Parking:

Parking Policies, Terms, Liability, Conditions, & Penalty Information

Any motor vehicle parked, operated, or driven on a BCIT campus shall be solely at the risk of the owner and the operator. BCIT shall not be liable for any damage occurring to any such motor vehicle, vehicle contents, operator, or any other person. Students attending post-secondary institutions away from their hometown are encouraged by ICBC to re-evaluate their auto insurance coverage in order to identify if updated coverage is needed, and adjust accordingly.

By parking at BCIT campuses, you agree to the parking terms and conditions of BCIT and Concord Parking Ltd. For more information, see Parking Terms and Conditions.

BCIT has contracted Concord Parking to enforce parking regulations and to administer online pay options. Concord penalties apply to all Concord-managed lots. On the 3rd outstanding offence, you will be ticketed and towed. If you have grounds to appeal a parking penalty, present your appeal to Concord. To prevent possible violations, please make sure that your license plate is visible at all times.

  • First offence $85.00 fine ($65.00 if paid within seven days).
  • Second offence $85.00 fine ($65.00 if paid within seven days).
  • The third offence is an $85.00 fine ($65.00 if paid within seven days), and the vehicle is towed at the owner’s expense if the previous ticket is unpaid.
