Find information on applying to a high school partnership program, taking the trades entry assessment test, obtaining a letter of verification of enrolment, and getting learning support through Accessibility Services.

Application forms

Students interested in participating in an existing high school partnership program, such as trades dual credit, may fill out an application and submit to their high school counsellor career coordinator. Once approved, the School District will submit the application to BCIT.

Documents below are in PDF format, which requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. Download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (free).

Trades entry assessment

We highly recommend students write the BCIT Trades Entry Assessments to see where they may need to strengthen knowledge and support, before going into a program.

The assessment fees are waived for high school dual credit students* and can be invigilated at the high school.

Learning support

Accessibility Services is available to help students overcome any limits and barriers during studies as a result of a disability, whether it’s visible, invisible, permanent, or temporary. To allow adequate time for assessment and implementation of accommodation requests, we recommend getting in touch with Accessibility Services at least six weeks prior to the start of classes when possible.

Letters of verification of enrolment

If proof of enrolment at BCIT is required, students can obtain a standard letter of verification free of charge through myBCIT.
