Exploration in Aviation Careers
The aviation-based program developed in collaboration with the Surrey School District offers students an exciting opportunity to delve into Canada’s growing aviation and aerospace sectors. Through a combination of career exploration, hands-on learning and student work placements, students will gain valuable insights into various career pathways available in these dynamic industries.
Participants will engage in learning experiences that highlight the technical and operational aspects of aviation, followed by work placements for students to apply what they’ve learned in real-world environments.
By the end of the program, students will have a clearer understanding of their interests and potential careers in aviation, paving the way for future education and job opportunities in this expansive field.
BCIT also offer dual credit seats for high school students in the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer–Category M program.
