In response to the current COVID-19 situation, BCIT Student Health Services have made changes to the way we deliver your care. We ask for your help to support the health of our community.
Phone and Video Appointments
Don’t put your health on hold. BCIT Student Health Services continues to offer virtual care through phone or video appointments to all BCIT students. Need to see someone in person? The physician or nurse will do an assessment during your phone or video appointment, and schedule an in-person follow-up as necessary. Student Health Services is available year-round 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Please call to book an appointment or book an appointment online with one of our physicians, or nurses.
Please review the COVID-19 information below if you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
The physician or nurse will do an assessment during your phone or video appointment, and schedule an in-person follow-up as necessary. Please bring a medical grade mask (non-cloth mask) to wear during your appointment with the physician or nurse.
Please do not come to campus if you are sick or required to self-isolate.
BCIT Student Health Services is currently open, by appointment only, for BCIT students. All patients will be seen for an initial appointment by phone or video session, where they will be screened for COVID symptoms prior to booking of any necessary follow-up in-person appointments.
To find out if you are required to self-isolate, should get a COVID test or require medical care, you can call 8-1-1, call your health care provider or use the BC COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool. You can complete this self-assessment for yourself, or on behalf of someone else. If you are required to self-isolate, please follow the guidelines as recommended by the BC Centre for Disease Control.
