Course Overview
This computer-based assessment is designed to help determine if an individual's English language skills are at a level necessary to meet the entrance requirements of BCIT full-time programs or Communication courses. The assessment reflects an individual's skill in reading comprehension, understanding of appropriate sentence structure, and clarity in written composition. If you do not show up to the test on the original test date and time, you will lose your test fee. *THE TEST FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE*: Once you have registered to take COMM 0015, you may ONLY request to change your test date to one that is later. If you wish to change your test date, you must contact Student Information and Enrolment Services at 604.434.1610 or visit them in person at least one business day (24 hours) BEFORE the date and time of your original test. A transfer/change fee will apply. Requests to change your test date will not be accepted after the original test date (NO EXCEPTIONS). *TEST RESULTS*: Log in to www.learn.bcit.ca to view your test results which will be available within 3 business days after you take the COMM 0015 test.
