Course Overview
The Speaking and Listening assessment is designed to determine if an individual's English speaking and listening skills are at a level necessary to meet the entrance requirements of BCIT full-time programs. Assessments are based on the individual’s ability to speak English and understand spoken English effectively. Double-check all the information provided. If you do not show up to the test on the original test date and time, you will lose your test fee. *THE TEST FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE*: Once you have registered to take COMM 0033, you may ONLY request to change your test date to one that is later. If you wish to change your test date, you must contact Student Information and Enrolment Services at 604.434.1610 or visit them in person at least one business day (24 hours) BEFORE the date and time of your original test. A transfer/change fee will apply. Requests to change your test date will not be accepted after the original test date (NO EXCEPTIONS). *TEST RESULTS*: Log in to www.learn.bcit.ca to view your test results which will be available 3 to 5 business days after you take the COMM 0033 test.
