BCIT students acquire the critical skills necessary to manage the day-to-day front desk procedures performed in a computerized dental office.
Explore areas such as patient charts and records, related accounting, business communication, and marketing within the dental office.
Graduates will have a working knowledge of dental terminology, clinical and billing procedures, insurance company protocols and fee guides, telephone skills, and appointment scheduling.

Formal application to the Statement of Completion is not required, as this is not a BCIT credential. Upon successful completion of these three courses, a Statement of Completion will be issued.
To be successful in this program, you must be able to communicate at a BC Grade 12 English level.
This line of work requires you to be detail-oriented, able to work well with the public, and dental terminology requires the utmost accuracy in spelling.
