Interior Design Part-time Studies Course

Course Details

This course is comprised of the exploration and application of design theories and processes relating to the built environment. Projects will promote an awareness of sensory perception and concepts of sustainability. Students will participate in class discussions and present their ideas orally.

Entrance Requirements for Diploma, General Education Electives (3 credit), COMM 2320* *May be taken concurrently.

Mandatory Prerequisites: 70% in COMM 1120 65% in INTD 2500 50% in 3 credits of approved General Education Electives and 50% in ENGL 1177 65% in COMM 2320* (*May be taken concurrently) If you wish to be placed on the INTD Department maintained waitlist for this Course, please email INTD_Waitlist@bcit.ca with the following information: Your Name, Student Number, Course Number, and CRN.   • Document the design process of interior design projects in a sketchbook/journal.
