Software Access

Below, you can manage your access to various software packages, based on your eligibility. The terms and conditions of use will differ depending on the software, so please read carefully if you decide to use them.

Software apps – access using your BCIT ID

Once you click the Manage Software button, you will log in with your BCIT ID and will have access to the software consent/download processes for which you are eligible.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe Creative Cloud is available for BCIT students to install on their personal computers. For students enrolled in full-time programs, there is no cost for using this software for the duration of your program. Students who are currently enrolled in one or more part-time courses can purchase a short-term subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud Pro through BCIT’s self-service portal at a discount.

Microsoft azure logo.

Azure Dev Tools for Teaching [ADTT] (previously known as Microsoft Imagine) supports technical education by providing access to Microsoft software and paid services for learning, teaching and research projects. Access is limited to staff and students in subscription-holding departments in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs.

Office 365

Office 365 logo.

Office 365 is a suite of Microsoft software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. These are fully-functioning versions that work on Mac, Windows, Android, and iOS. Access is provided to all current BCIT staff and students.

Sharefile logo.

ShareFile is a file storage and sharing solution offered to staff and students. ShareFile will allow you to store your own BCIT-related data and share content with others. It allows you to access your files from any device or web browser. This service will be used by many instructors to distribute and collect files from students.
