Residence Advisors
A Residence Advisor (RA) is a BCIT student employed by the BCIT Housing Office, living on campus to support and enhance the housing community. RAs play a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive environment for residents.
Living on campus, RAs are actively present in the community, particularly in the evenings. There is always an RA on-site during weeknights and weekends, serving as a point of contact for residents. RAs provide assistance, ensure the safety and well-being of the community, and are there to support residents in various situations. Whether through offering a listening ear, organizing activities, or assisting during emergencies, RAs are essential to campus life.
Being an RA is an excellent way to develop leadership skills, contribute to the student experience, and make a meaningful impact on the BCIT Housing community.
