Course details

Revit for MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) uses 3D parametric models for both design and construction documentation. This course introduces the basic HVAC, electrical and plumbing components of the software. Architectural models are linked. The expectation is that students have current training/experience with Computer Aided Design. Students should also have exposure to building systems. This course may be eligible for students to receive funding through the StrongerBC Future Skills Grant at www.bcit.ca/financial-aid/strongerbc-future-skills-grant. Students register themselves into the course, then apply for the StrongerBC Future Skills Grant to cover payment, if eligible.

  • Use the HVAC module to add HVAC systems.

  • Create and annotate construction documents.
