Healthcare administration is rapidly changing and electronic files are replacing paper files. The Electronic Medical Records (EMR) course explores key aspects of software systems used by healthcare providers for scheduling, referrals, requisitions, patient management and record keeping. You will be introduced to the Collaborative Health Record (CHR) software system and other Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software. This course includes lectures, exercises and hands-on practical software use for administration and clinical application in physicians’ offices and clinics.
