Course Overview
This course introduces students to the language and documentation standards used in medical practice, supported by transcription-based learning tools. Medical terms that students previously studied will connect to those encountered in written physician orders. Through this course, students will develop entry-level transcription skills to accurately and completely process medical documentation, following established hospital protocols and workflows.
