The Canadian Employment Readiness (CER) microcredential is designed to provide international and newcomer students with practical education that enables them to gain a deeper knowledge and practical skills to help them successfully obtain employment with Canadian employers. Participants learn to identify cultural dynamics related to expectations, organizational culture, as well as Canadian legal compliance for foreign workers, and international students and graduates.
Students will apply employability strategies to better adapt and align with Canadian employer expectations during their process of searching and applying for work in their new careers in Canada.
