What is a T4A?
T4A is an official document for tax purposes that must be reported on your tax return. It is issued to students who have received scholarships, bursaries, awards and prizes from January to December in any given year. For more information on filing your income tax return, please go to the CRA website.
How can I download my T4A?
T4As are available for viewing and download through myBCIT. T4As for the previous year are available starting the last day of February of the current year.
- Log in to myBCIT
- Click on Student Self Services
- Click on T4A Tax Credit Form
- Choose the tax year and the viewing option and download the T4A
Please note:
- T4As are only available to you on your myBCIT
- If you are a student employee, please access your T4A through Employee Self-Service. There will be a link to the Employee Dashboard where your T4A can be downloaded.
