Course Overview
This course builds on the foundational skills developed in Revit for MEP 1 and advances students toward industry-level BIM workflows used in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection projects. Through residential and commercial project applications, students will develop highly detailed and coordinated building services models, incorporating fabrication-ready components, construction documentation standards, and multidisciplinary coordination practices.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Convert a design-intent HVAC model into fabrication parts
- Coordinate mechanical room layouts
- Model a highly detailed residential plumbing system
- Develop a commercial electrical model incorporating standard components
- Evaluate a coordinated MEP model for compliance with industry standards
- Export fabrication-ready data for field installation and manufacturing
- Develop coordinated shop drawings in accordance with construction documentation standards.
- Create fabrication models
- Generate fabrication-ready shop drawings and spool drawings
