Only students who are in Construction Estimating Part-Time Certificate program must have completed BLDC 1300 or BLDT 1041 in order to obtain credit for this course. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Read and interpret typical civil construction drawings.
- Identify common construction equipment and their applications.
- Identify fundamental construction activities for a typical construction project.
- Prepare portions of a contractor's estimate.
- Use basic project cost control on a project.
