Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:

  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications for all divisions 1 through 16 for quantity take-off.
  • Determine scopes of work for quantity take-off.
  • Lay out industry-standard spreadsheet quantities.
  • Take off into categories for costing.
  • Use Excel as a computer spreadsheet application for data entry, data manipulation and summary consolidation.
