Note: in order to be eligible to attend Convocation, you must complete and have grades posted for all coursework including practicum assignments, and any outstanding financial obligations to BCIT must be resolved.
Apply to graduate: Full time technology and trades students do not need to formally apply to graduate. Flexible Learning, or part-time, students do have to apply to graduate through completing an Application for Credential form by April 30, 2024.
Qualified and prospective graduates may register for Spring Convocation until May 31, 2024.
It is important to us that your name is pronounced correctly as you cross the stage.
Upon registering to attend you will receive an automated email that includes a link to Namecoach. Please use this link to record your name by June 15th.

Online gown rental registration for Spring 2024 Convocation is now open. Order here.
Early bird rental discount of $10.00 is applicable for orders placed before midnight PST June 5, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Graduates who miss the gown rental deadline can still rent a gown on the day of their ceremony for $50. All rentals include a gown, hood, cap, and tassel. The cap and tassel are yours to keep.
The Valedictorian is an outstanding student that is selected to represent the graduating class and delivers a formal address during Convocation. There will be 5 Valedictorians selected, one per ceremony. Students can be nominated by other BCIT students or instructors, and you can also nominate yourself. Nominate a Valedictorian.
