At BCIT, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is understood as a way to:

  • Offer multiple ways for learners to engage with content
  • Provide flexible ways to access and understand information
  • Allow different options for learners to demonstrate their understanding

BCIT is committed to cultivating an exceptional, collaborative, and diverse educational community that delivers an outstanding student experience and supports holistic success by doing the following:

  • Recognizing learner variability and removing barriers through flexible pathways to engage, learn, and demonstrate understanding
