Course Overview
This course expands on the skills covered within the Vehicle Restoration suite of courses and enables the student to complete a custom build to a ¼ scale model vehicle body. Students will learn how to modify sheet metal exterior panels using shaping methods with the English wheel and apply welding techniques to the selected project. Custom refinishing techniques will also be covered. The ¼ scale custom vehicle will be retained by the student upon completion of the course.

- Plan sheet metal construction.
- Fabricate and weld new custom panels.
- Prepare and prime surface.
- Apply basecoat / clearcoat.
- SABOD and detail clearcoat.
