Course details
This course explores the key requirements of a quality management system using the ISO 9000 International Standards for quality management and quality assurance systems. The series consists of ISO 9000, 9001 and 9004. In addition, the course will define and explain the current ISO 9001:2015 standard with emphasis on the high-level clauses of Annex SL. Topics include the purpose and requirements of the ISO Standards, assessment of existing company operations relating to the standards, and steps required for implementation and registration to the ISO 9001 Standard.

No class on April 10, May 22 and July 3 This is an ONLINE SYNCHRONOUS and interactive class, and your participation is required during the scheduled online class time. 2. Students should set aside time to perform the learning according to the course schedule. All tests and exams, as well as virtual classes will take place during the specified time. Students also need to set aside time away from the course schedule to perform the homework, studying and assignments. 3. To study effectively while working remotely on this course, the following set-ups are required: • A study work area, away from noise and interruptions for the duration. • Access to a personal computer that equipped with a webcam and a microphone for class participation and test taking and a reliable internet connection. • Ability to scan or photograph your work for return in time to the instructor for marking. • Access to a printer is recommended to print out some of the assignments and quizzes to work more effectively.
