Designed for advertising agency and media sales personnel and individuals considering career entry in the advertising industry. Covers media/industry terminology, strength and limitations of media vehicles. Industry related research and the roles of those involved in planning buying and selling media time and space.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course you should be able to:
- List and explain the characteristics and key terminologies of each major advertising medium.
- Use and explain the basic media reference materials for media estimating, buying and planning.
- Develop and execute the media selection process and evaluate how various media are measured.
- Explain how media audiences are measured and how the information gathered from these studies is used for evaluation and planning purpose.
